Frequently Asked Questions:

Below you will find some frequently asked questions about our classes. If you have any further questions or need any help selecting the right class for your child please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Can we come for a trial class?

We do not offer free trial classes.

We off every new student a 3 week introductory class pass. The pass allows your child to attend 3 consecutive weeks class allowing them the chance to settle in to the class and a new environment before committing to the entire term.

Can I watch the first class?

Of course!

We would love you to be there to experience your child’s first dance class! After the first lesson you are more than welcome to leave the studio. Many of our venues have cafes and you can pop off and have a coffee if you wish.

My child is really shy, can I stay with them?

Whilst we encourage everyone to work towards drop off we understand some children are just not ready to be left alone. If you feel your child is not ready to be left alone please feel welcome to stay and support them until they are settled.

From 4 years + all classes are drop off.

What can we expect?

We offer 30 minute, fun and gentle classes introducing children to the magical world of dance! Children can start classes with us as young as 16 months and we currently offer classes up to 6 years old.

Because the activity is new and most of the time unlike other classes children have been to, we find it takes the children a couple of weeks to take in all the new movements and exercises.

However, once their confidence grows, they are away!

Where do your classes take place?

Our classes take place at family friendly venues across South West London.

We currently operate in Kensington, Parsons Green, Fulham and Hammersmith. To view our venues click here.

What should my child wear?

Your child can wear anything they can comfortably move in for their first lesson. For Baby Ballet and Tap tutus and dance wear are welcome if you have them thought not compulsory.

Does my child need a uniform?

We have no set uniform for our under 4 years classes however we do have a range of shoes and our recommended tutu available on our online shop.

From 4 years + there is a set uniform for Pre Primary Ballet. This is also available for purchase on our online store. Children are required to wear the lilac leotard and skirt with either tights or socks and ballet shoes.

Drama, Modern and Tap currently have no set uniform and children can wear anything they can comfortably move in.

Tap shoes are available for purchase on our online store.
