Meet the teacher: Miss Lauren!

Introducing Miss Lauren! 

You may have met Miss Lauren at class last term or at one of our summer camps. Miss Lauren will be teaching our Monday, Thursday and Friday morning classes this year and we are thrilled to have her joining the team!

Miss Lauren

Lauren has been dancing from the age of 4 and began her professional training at Principal Academy of Dance in Western Australia.

She performed in ‘Giselle’, ‘Romeo and Juliet’ and Cinderella with the Perth City Ballet before moving to Melbourne to complete her Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre at the Ballarat Arts Academy.

At college, Lauren worked on “Thoroughly Modern Millie”, “Urinetown” and “The Mystery of Edwin Drood”, graduating in 2015. In 2016 she workshopped and performed in a new Australian song Cycle “Join The Dots”. She joined the Australian Shakespeare Company working on “Godspell” at the Arts Centre Melbourne as well as “Tinkerbell and the Dream Fairies” as Tinkerbell which she performed in Melbourne, Sydney and London throughout 2016 and 2017. 

Most recently she performed “A Midsummer Nights Dream” as Hermia in the Melbourne Botanical Gardens. In London, Lauren performs regularly with The Gatsby Girls and is Looking forward to playing Tinkerbell in Peter Pan at the Sunderland Empire this christmas.

Lauren is passionate about sharing her knowledge on dance, drama and singing and has loved teaching at The Little Dance Academy since she moved to London in May this year.


Miss Lauren teaches our Monday classes at The Corner House, Thursday classes in Kensington and Friday Mornings in Parsons Green.
